Driver of the Year Award
DMC Insurance values safe and reliable professional drivers in the trucking industry. To celebrate the exceptional drivers of our insureds, we host our annual DMC Driver of the Year Award program. The individual honored as the DMC Driver of the Year is a driver that helps to keep our roads safe, provides exceptional service and leadership, and gives back to the community and industry.
Driver nominations will be accepted March 1 – May 1, 2024.
Winning Prizes
The winning driver will be honored with an award ceremony and appreciation event intended to be held at their home terminal.

Driver:
- Crystal trophy in recognition of the award
- $3,000 cash prize
- DMC Driver of the Year prize package
- Press recognition
Nominator and Company:
- Crystal trophy in recognition of the award
- DMC prize package for nominator
- Giveaway items for event attendees
- Press recognition
Finalist Prizes
The top finalist nominations will be eligible for a $500 cash prize.

Eligibility
1) Full-time CDL Class A or Class B driver
2) Employed by current company for the past 3 years
3) MVR Violation free for past 3 years
4) No preventable accidents for the past 3 years
5) Notable educational and/or community service activities
6) Current company must be insured by DMC Insurance
7) Must be nominated by the motor carrier where they are currently employed
Nominate a Driver
A DMC insured can nominate up to three drivers for consideration, but only one Driver of the Year will be chosen annually.
A fillable PDF version of the application is available here and, once completed, can be emailed to Lisa Ukleja at lukleja@dmcinsurance.com. You may also print, scan, and email the completed application to the above email address or give it to a DMC team member prior to the May 1st deadline.
