Special Investigations Unit

A key asset to our success comes from our in-house Special Investigations Unit (SIU) providing front-line fraud investigation, support and training to our claim professionals, insureds and producers. With the support of our SIU team, we do our due-diligence on every claim that comes through the door to know the full story and work tirelessly toward resolution. We know our claimants, and we know what happened better than anyone else involved in the case.

Medical Billing Services

Medical expenses make up an average of over 60% of a claim’s costs, a significant financial impact to our insureds’ cost of risk.  Unfortunately, errors and unreasonable expenditures are commonplace with claims, which is why DMC has implemented a proprietary 3-tier process to review each medical bill claim.  We work with the best providers in the industry combining technology, credentialed physicians and allied medical professionals to combat costs and improve outcomes with our insureds’ claims.

Subrogation

Subrogation is the right of the insurer, upon payment, to pursue a responsible third party for damages caused to an insured. As soon as our in house team is notified, they begin assessing the claim to determine any third party liability to damages.  Our team’s depth of trucking insurance claims is a primary factor in our ability to recover your damages.

With DMC Insurance, you are able to report or monitor the status of a claim 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

In addition to our 24-hour hotline, you may also submit a claim via email at newclaim@dmcinsurance.com.

It is critical that you report all accidents as soon as possible. Our online portal is another option available to report any claims. If you are submitting documents after first notice of loss, you may also fax cover sheet to 1.877.622.6218 including the number associated in all documents.
