EVP – Marketing & Analytics
Vikas is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. Vikas has a wide breadth of actuarial and management experience in varying capacities of senior leadership at global insurers and consulting firms, including working with the DMC executive team as a manager of the Actuarial Department when they were leading Baldwin & Lyons.
At DMC, Vikas is in charge of sales and marketing initiatives, including identifying and developing strategic opportunities to build the product portfolio. He and his team are responsible for handling all customer needs, including rating analyses. He also runs the point for research and application of technological advancement opportunities. Vikas manages DMC’s actuarial and data science teams, which leverage capabilities in big data analysis and proprietary actuarial methodologies around loss run normalization, layered loss rating, credibility, trend, and severity pricing.
Immediately prior to joining DMC, Vikas worked as a management consultant for Milliman, a leading global actuarial consulting firm. In that role, he worked with quantitative and operational enterprise risk management for large companies across industry sectors. His teams were able to create meaningful recommendations to Fortune 100 companies looking for improvement to their risk management, claims, analytics, and governance infrastructures. Vikas participates in all weekly account management meetings.
