Gary Miller

Gary is an attorney who has had an illustrious career spanning six decades in the trucking insurance industry. He has been a mentor to and friend of Joe since they met in 1981. He began his career in this segment with Baldwin & Lyons in the 1960s, handling large trucking claims and advanced through the ranks to President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board. Gary has unique and extensive experience in all areas of transportation insurance, including participating in the creation of the industry’s first excess trucking indemnity contracts, designing comprehensive independent contractor programs for Fortune 100/500 trucking companies and developing many other innovative products which are now commonplace in the trucking insurance industry.

Gary is actively involved in detailed reviews of claims across all product lines as well as assisting with the continued development and evolution of our policy forms.
